What is Micropenem mesotherapy

The Micropen treatment induces skin self-renewal. The skin's own defence mechanism releases growth factors that increase the activity of skin cells and collagen. New skin cells fill the needle punctures and firm the skin. During the treatment, the resulting channels are used to inject active serums - hyaluronic acid, vitamins, proteins into the deeper layers.

Course of treatment

Micropen vertically pierces the skin with disposable microneedle attachments to a depth of 0.25 - 2.5mm (at this depth the procedure may only be performed by a physician). In the course of the treatment, tiny microtraumas - channels - are created in the skin, which leave behind punctures. These channels can be used to inject active substances into the skin to further activate it.

After the treatment, the skin is slightly irritated, reddened. During the healing process, small scabs may form. Make-up can be applied 48 hours after treatment. Strict sun protection is required after the procedure. A breathable make-up can be applied the day after the treatment.

What is the sandwich treatment technique

To achieve the maximum effect, it is advisable to combine the treatment with other interventions - the so-called sandwich technique. Its effect consists in strengthening and repairing the skin in different layers according to the type of method used. The combination with Ulthera to strengthen the lowermost layers of the skin, Vital Injector with hyaluronic acid for enhanced skin hydration, for example, has proved very effective.
